A little school history:
Ben Lomond HS gets its name from Mount Ben Lomond north of Ogden. But did you know that it was originally going to be called 'North East Ogden High School'? At the very first assembly, before the school was finished, the students suggested that since the school was so close to Mount Ben Lomond, why not name it after the mountain? And thus the school had its new name.
