OGDEN – Suzanne Baird Mooney slipped peacefully from her husband's arms into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 18, 2009. Suzanne was born on December 16, 1946 to Dorman and Lenora Baird in Ogden, Utah.
Suzanne attended schools in the Ogden area. She married Kent John Mooney on July 10, 1964 in Ogden, Utah. Suzanne worked at Peterson Marine, as well as Autoliv.
Suzanne was a very accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed anything outdoors. If it included the out of doors and her life mate Kent, you could count her in. Suzanne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband Kent, two sons Michael K. Mooney and Alan J. (Jeanette) Mooney; her mother Lenora Baird; grandchildren Trevor Mooney, Lindsie Mooney and Preston Mooney (serving in the Australia Brisbane Mission); her sister Karen (Larry) Beaman; brother Jeffery (Tammy) Baird; sisters-in-law Karla (Paul) Elsworth and Kathy (Brent) Blakeley. Suzanne was preceded in death by her father and one grandson Tyler Mooney.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 22, 2009 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden. Interment at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.
