Connie Ann Carpenter Jones

Born August 25, 1947
Departed December 31, 2005

Connie Ann Carpenter Jones, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister returned home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 31, 2005 after a sudden illness.

Connie was born in Ogden at the old Dee Hospital on August 25, 1947 to Wayne L. and Iola Allred Carpenter. She was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. She married Benny J. Jones on March 5, 1965 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Connie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lomond View Ward. She held various callings in the church including serving in the young women’s organization and Primary organizations. She was always active in helping the young people of the church.

Connie spent time working in the Ogden City School District as a speech therapist assistant, teaching assistant and aide. She also worked as a pharmacy assistant and as an office administrator for a chiropractor locally.

Connie was blessed to travel throughout the world and loved seeing other cultures and countries. She especially loved Holland and Switzerland.

The highlight of her life was her family, being survived by her husband, daughter Kristi Ann (Robert) Nolen, son Michael Benny (Sherry), and daughter Marnie Paige (Kevin) Tams. She was blessed with 7 beautiful grandchildren, Megan and Zachary Nolen, Kylie Bishop and Kory, Shelby, Levi and Kenlie Tams.

Connie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at McKay-Dee Hospital for all of their care and loving service.
